Before a student can be admitted into any tertiary institution in Nigeria, there are certain requirements he/she must meet.

One of the major requirements a candidate must know is the cut Off Mark required by the preferred University and the cut Off Mark for the preferred course of study.

Records show that 90% of students who meet the requirements of their preferred institution are usually admitted to study their preferred course.

Before We provide the required cut Off Mark for Wellspring University, We will like to explain to you what the whole concept of Cut Off Mark is.

The Cut off mark of any institution is the average score required for aspiring candidates to score in order to be qualified for admission. Usually, the cut Off mark is set by the institution’s administration or the body conducting the examination.

WELLSPRING UNIVERSITY CUT OFF MARK for JAMB CANDIDATES 

Wellspring University official cut Off Mark as released by JAMB is 180.

A lot of candidates may apply with 180 as their JAMB score and will probably not Ben admitted. This is because special consideration will be given to candidates with higher JAMB score before students with 180.

WELLSPRING UNIVERSITY 2019/2020 DEPARTMENTAL CUT OFF MARK 

As at the time Edo Affairs was writing this report, Wellspring University has not released the cut off Mark for her courses. However, prospective candidates who scored at least 180 in UTME can apply for admission into any of their selected courses.

Usually, Wellspring University departmental cut off mark is released after the screening exercise. Edo Affairs has provided the list of courses offered in Wellspring university and their cut off mark;

  • 220 – 240 – Medicine (O’ Level result with one sitting only) and Nursing.
  • 200 – Mass Communication, Common Law, Pharmacy, Anatomy, Physiology.
  • 190 – Computer Science, English Language, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Geology, all engineering courses except Agricultural and Biosystem Engineering.
  • 180 – All other courses

In order to have a clear chance of securing admission into Wellspring University, aspirants are required to meet the minimum JAMB examination scores for their preferred course, their UTME subject combinations must follow the prescription on JAMB Brochure and all required O/Level subjects must be credited.

WELLSPRING UNIVERSITY ADMISSION SCREENING PROCEDURES.

The duration for Wellspring University screening exercises is usually within a week or two. The Screening  exercise often happens in two stages.

First stage: The major documents needed for screening are your SSCE result and JAMB registration print-out.

Please note that it is very necessary for a candidate to arrive early and find his/her screening venue. Candidates will be screened based on their JAMB scores and their SSCE result

The second stage of the screening is  after the admission lists might have been released by the admission board. Candidates who are qualified for the admission will be expected to come for another screening exercise. Below are the documents required;

  1. Printed Post-UTME Screening Form.
  2. Internet copy of O’level results (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB/NBAIS).
  3. Printed copy JAMB Result Slip.
  4. Primary School Leaving Certificate.
  5. Birth Certificate/Declaration of age.
  6. Local Government Indigene/Citizen/Residence Certificate.
  7. Recent colored passport photographs (Not less than 16 copies).
