Ekiti State University (EKSU) has started selling its Post UTME admission screening exercise application forms for the 2023/2024 academic session. The EKSU post UTME form can be obtained online and the screening exercise has been scheduled as detailed on the webpage accessible via the link below.
Eligibility:
- The University will also consider UTME candidates who did not choose EKSU initially but scored 140 and above in the 2023 UTME and are ready to change their first choice of institution to EKSU on their JAMB CAPS. Ekiti State University (EKSU) will give concessions to successful students from its Pre-Degree and JUBEB Programmes, in keeping with Senate approval.
- Candidates awaiting the results of their O’level examinations should not apply for the PUTME screening exercise. They are to apply as soon as the results of their O’level examinations are released.
- The University minimum UTME scores for Nursing, Law, and Medicine (MBBS) are 220, 240, and 250, respectively. Candidates with lower scores in any of the courses above may apply for PUTME screening into other courses of their choice and effect the change on JAMB CAPS to be considered for admission. Please, note that EKSU accepts JUPEB (minimum of 6 points) and NOT LIMB for admission

About EKSU
The hint for the creation of the University came during the 1979 Nigeria general elections when a gubernatorial candidate for Ondo State, Chief M. A. Ajasin made the university creation one of his campaign promises.
In March 1981, Chief Ajasin as the Governor of Ondo State announced the establishment of a multi-campus university at the launching of the 4th National Development Plan and constituted a 17-member Consultative Committee to work on the University blueprint namely: Professor O. O. Akinkugbe (Chairman), Prof. A. Adaralegbe, Prof. O. S. Adegoke, Prof. A. A. Ademosun, Prof. Z. A. Ademuwagun, Dr. N. F. Aina, Prof. J. F. Ade Ajayi, Mrs. Julia Akintoye, Prof. S. A. Aluko, Prof. M. A. Bankole, Chief R. F. Fasoranti, Prof. D. A. Ijalaye, Prof. J. A. Majasan, Prof. E. F. Ojo Prof. S. A. Ola and Prof. I. O. Oladapo (Members) and Mr. R. A. Faba (Secretary).
