In today’s competitive era, acquiring robust technical skills can distinguish you in both the local and global technical talent arenas. Recognizing this, the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy presents an invaluable opportunity with the 3 Million Technical Talent Program 2023 (3MTT). This strategic initiative aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ambitious goal of creating two million digital jobs by 2025
Overview of the 3MTT Program
The 3MTT is not merely a training program; it stands as a pillar of the Renewed Hope agenda. Its overarching aim is to solidify Nigeria’s technical prowess, thereby boosting the nation’s digital economy and positioning Nigeria as a hub of technical talent. By achieving this, Nigeria aspires to be a net talent exporter, providing skilled individuals to meet global demands.
For the maiden phase, the program, in partnership with NITDA, will involve a cohesive collaboration amongst various stakeholders, including fellows, training providers, partners, and placement organizations. The average course duration in this phase is set at three months.

To ensure that the program attracts dedicated and genuinely interested individuals, the eligibility criteria have been defined as:
- Open exclusively to Nigerian citizens currently residing in the country.
- Candidates should exhibit a keen interest in honing technical skills, thereby enhancing their competitiveness in both the local and global technical talent arenas.
Application Modalities
